Governments of several countries in the world, mainly in Latin America, have digital transformation programs focused on tax, accounting, financial, customs and labor governance. Such initiatives involve complex legal requirements and types of documents that are related to data from virtually all operations and business processes.
In addition to being rigorous and multidisciplinary in nature, the rules are constantly changing and require that information be stored in a safe, traceable and accessible way to different entities and people, such as: government agencies, certification authorities, audits, customers, suppliers, partners , consumers, among others.
IT managers and business areas (Tax, Accounting, Customer Services and Foreign Trade) of global companies have sought Origen in search of solutions to help them in different challenges:
– How to achieve and maintain compliance?
– How to deal with different systems and suppliers to meet the legal requirements of each country?
– How can I make all the information correct and centralized only in my SAP system, without the need to use third party software and manage problems with data synchronism?
Origen offers the SAP Document and Reporting Compliance solution to enable the compliance of electronic documents from different countries, through a single SAP platform. In addition to invoices, other types of electronic documents are supported by the solution, such as: payment vouchers, tax with holding certificates, debit / credit notes, payment slips, delivery / transport documents, among others.
Currently 13 countries are supported by the SAP Document and Reporting Compliance platform:
SAP Document and Reporting Compliance for Mexico: e-Invoice
In this post we will discuss about electronic invoice needs and solutions for Mexico.
The SAT (Servicio de Administración Tributaria), Mexico’s government agency responsible for tax and customs management services, determines several standards that Mexican companies must follow. These standards are related to the CFF (Fiscal Code de la Federación) and RMF (Resolución Miscelánea Fiscal), the main references of tax legislation in the country.
Each RFC (unique registration code to identify taxpayers in Mexico) must manage different types of taxes and contributions. Among the main ones, we can mention: VAT (Impuesto al Valor Agregado), IETU (Impuesto Empresarial a Tasa Única), IEPS (Impuesto Especial sobre Producción y Servicios), ISR (Impuesto sobre la Renta), IMSS (Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social) , SAR (Ahorro System for the Retreat) and INFONAVIT (Instituto del Fondo Nacional de la Vivienda para los Trabajadores).
One of the most important programs of the SAT is the CFDI (Digital Tax Evidence by Internet). This initiative includes different types of services related to electronic invoices, such as: issuance, consultation, download, cancellation, payment Complement (payments), Complement for foreign trade, invoice for the North Border Zone.
1. Single solution: Central monitor for all countries within the ERP itself
3. Native integration with different types of SAP documents: automatic conversion of standard source documents into SD, FI to eDocument (generic SAP document to represent electronic documents)
4. Ease of using the different electronic invoice services
